If you know me, you know I love (aka need) to be organized. I've gone from trying out several different calendar apps, staples planners, and such. Well this year I think I found something that finally works for me. The Happy Planner.
I first started out with my fitness planner , after I was introduced to the brand by my mom, and tried to make it work for me back in February. I couldn't seem to figure out how to make it really work for me, I wasn't able to find my planner piece and soon realized it was the spread. I was seeing all these beautiful spreads in the classic planner and decided to wait until they launched their July planners. I found the most beautiful planner and started to feel inspired..
The problem? It was just so beautiful, I didn't want to mess it up with my handwriting and I still needed to write things down for work. From there I decided to buy a mini planner to use for work related things. No decorating just completely functional. I started finding myself having to track my son's school and home habits (he has ADHD and ASD) but wanted something separate from work so I purchased another mini planner.
Once I saw that people were finding ways to design the horizontal spread, I felt that itch again to buy another planner. I really didn't need one but... I did have a coupon. That's literally how it begins for all of us. A coupon is too good to pass (even though there's always coupons!) or Happy planner comes out with something new like the Memory Planners!!! I needed one so bad.
I am not ashamed to admit I have too many planners because they each have a purpose. I have my Classic that I use for social weekly spreads, my mini that I use for social weekly spreads and that I slowly trying to actually use, my mini that I use for budget (that is going to be replaced with the new 2018 actual budget planner), my mini for my son's tracking, my mini for work, my big memory planner, my classic recipe planner, and I just purchased a new 2018 mini to replace my current one that I use for social.
I also have other planners that I'm testing out such as the Best Co planner for goals, the day designer planner for errands/shopping/to do and I just purchased an Erin Condren to see if I like her layout. You can say I'm trying to find my planner peace.
