Although this experience happened a year ago, I wanted to write about it because it was such an exciting experience for myself as an artist. I had been working for Temptu for a little over a year and had just finished competing in RAW:Natural Born Artist which was another first time experience for myself. I had used Temptu along with other brands to create a winter solstice look that my boss really enjoyed so she asked if I would be interested in creating a look for IMATS at our booth.

I remember I was so shocked, excited and nervous. IMATS was in two weeks and I was asked to create a new look, so I immediately started researching new techniques and brought in my friend Nella to do hair and assist.  I finally came down to a look and created the face chart and body chart but last minute added a dress to the look because I didn’t know a thing about body painting at the time.

When I arrived at the booth, I set up my kit and started running around looking for a brand that had glitter, and just a few stations from our booth I found LIT Cosmetics. They are literally my ONLY glitter brand I use now. Jodie and James were so sweet to give me a few glitters that would perfectly give me that ombre effect down the neck.

I ran back to the Temptu booth to get started on makeup while Nella did hair. My lovely model was Karibel.  See below for photos of my experience.
